What Reels Downloader does

Reels Downloader lets anyone download public Instagram media directly in the browser. We built it to be the fastest, cleanest way to save a Reel or photo without wading through pop-ups, sign-up walls or watermarked results. It is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.

How the tool works

You paste a public Instagram link. Reels Downloader reads the public media address for that post and hands the file back to your browser, which downloads it directly. The file transfer happens between your device and Instagram's own servers - we simply locate the right link. Because of that, downloads are fast and we never hold a copy of your content.

Public content only - why it matters

Reels Downloader only works with content from public profiles. Private accounts are protected at the server level and are never accessible through any external tool, including ours. We respect the privacy settings people choose, and we ask that you respect copyright and Instagram's platform rules for anything you save.

Privacy and data handling

We do not store your downloaded content, we do not collect Instagram credentials, and there is nothing to sign up for. We keep only anonymous, aggregated request logs to keep the service reliable and fast.
