Reels Downloader ("we", "us") is built around a simple idea: your downloads are your business. This policy explains what limited data we handle and, just as importantly, what we never touch.
What data we collect
- Anonymous request logs. When you use the downloader we record non-identifying technical data such as the request timestamp and content type, used only to keep the service reliable and prevent abuse. IP addresses are truncated.
- Aggregate analytics. We use Google Analytics to measure overall traffic and improve the service. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner.
What data we do not collect
- We do not store the content you download. Files are fetched in real time and never saved on our servers.
- We do not require or collect your Instagram credentials.
- We do not require registration and do not build user profiles.
- We do not sell or rent any data to third parties.
Cookies and analytics
Reels Downloader uses Google Analytics, which may set analytics cookies (such as _ga) to measure how the site is used. On your first visit you can accept or decline analytics via the cookie banner, and analytics stays disabled until you accept. We do not use advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may be used for bot protection and is designed to be privacy-preserving.
Third-party services
Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (hosting, CDN and security), and we use Google Analytics to measure traffic. When you download a file, the media is served directly from Instagram's own content delivery network. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of those providers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under regulations such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access or request deletion of any personal data. Because we collect essentially no personal data, there is typically nothing to export or erase, but you may contact us with any request.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the last updated date above.
